Coaching Skills Program

The Global Institute of Organizational Coaching believes that as people invest in and engage with their own growth and development they go through a process that is often transformative. Corporations today are ripe for transformational growth opportunities which create an environment where all employees believe that they can bring their whole selves to work and can develop from that starting point. Aligning the most recent research and evidence available in organizational behavior and development with informed practices results in Global IOC proprietary models that engage people in unleashing their potential to achieve top performance.

Finally, we believe that we can change the world one coach at a time. What changes is the interactions we have with one another that allow for the support and challenge of growth and development while moving beyond boundaries into full potential.

The Global IOC Essential Leadership Coaching Skills program requires six weeks to complete. The program is a combination of virtual training, reflection, coaching oversight, and coaching practice. Three individual coaching sessions will be scheduled every other week. Peer group coaching practice is integrated into training. A final review of learning is conducted at the end of the program. The total hours for completion of the program is 32.

The intent of this program is to provide leaders with the essential coaching skills needed for developing direct reports.  It does not lead to a coaching certification, rather it is a bridge to the Advanced Business Coaching Program. Graduates of the Advanced Business Coaching Program receive the Certified Business Coach (CBC) designation through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaching (WABC).
