The goal of the Senior Professional Corporate Coaching program is to facilitate the development of coaches through an intensive examination intended to consolidate the depth and breadth of senior professional practice. Which coaching certification is best?
The best coaching certification is one that aligns with the type of coaching your offer. With that said, if you are working with business people , i.e. executives, organizations, leaders, etc. than a certification in business coaching would be the gold standard.
What certifications do you need to be a coach?
In the US, certification is not required. However, it does provide a layer of credibility and demonstration of commitment to gaining the knowledge and skills that lead to coaching competency.
Do you have to be certified to be a business coach?
Same as above. I will add that some organizations are now requiring certification as a business coach to be on a coach panel or provide coaching services to that organization.
How are coaching certification classes taught?
With the pandemic, almost all classes are virtual. However, I expect that once the situation with COVID is resolved, the majority of training organizations will remain virtual with just a few offerings in a hybrid setting, i.e. some live, some virtual.
