Throughout Judy’s career, she’s had a passion for helping people discover those cool little aha moments when they learn something new, when a creative idea germinates or having a big breakthrough on a tough topic.

Judy has over 20 years’ experience in multiple variations of team leadership. She’s led HR and IT teams for three global multi-billion-dollar companies. She understands the value of learning and supporting ongoing business evolution. Her experience in Information Systems, HR Operations, Learning, and DE&I as well as Project Management give her a unique perspective on business and people evolution.

Judy holds several professional certifications including SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional), Certified Business Coach™ with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches, and Project Management Professional (PMP). She’s also a certified practitioner for the Center for Creative Leadership and various  assessments including 360-Degree as well as an HBDI Certified Practitioner, to improve productivity, innovation, and inclusion. She also utilizes DISC and Work Life Balance Assessments, as needed in coaching, to gain an overall picture of an individual or team.

Judy draws from her experience and uses tools to support her passion in helping people discover their value and strengths and map pathways to stronger work relationships, team enhancement and overall success. She guides small businesses and individuals through thoughtful problem-solving, identifying and breaking down barriers, restoring and improving communication, and establishing meaningful and practical next steps.

Judy is currently serving her second term as President of the Spartanburg Human Resource Association and is a member in the Society for Human Resource Management.  She also serves as a Board Member on the Upstate Workforce Board to further drive employment across Spartanburg, Union, and Cherokee Counties of South Carolina.

Judy’s husband, Darryl, is a 26-year SC Army National Guard Veteran. She’s a Veteran advocate, Career Coach for Veterans and military spouses, volunteers with various Veteran service organizations, and teaches employers how to hire and retain veterans and military spouses. She serves on the Executive Committee for the SC ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) as the South Carolina Employer Outreach Director. 

Judy and Darryl reside in Spartanburg, SC with their two dogs, Argos and Charlie.
